Strategy: The Fenix team implements a process-driven investment philosophy in order to maximize scalability, transparency, and repeatability. This process is meant to ensure a consistent quality of deal flow, diligence practices, and strategy implementation across the Fenix portfolio.

The Fenix team targets acquisitions with $1M to $15M in EBITDA with easily identifiable growth opportunities and significant upside market potential. We seek to maximize acquisition and portfolio value by implementing strategies that leverage synergies across investments with specific focus on driving top line revenue and profitability, such as the integration and enhancement of fragmented value chains from production to sales and distribution.

Management Experience: Domestic and international transactions and acquisitions totaling more than $2.7 billion USD. Senior executive experience within public and private companies. Proven track record of driving integration and synergies across acquisitions to increase operating profit.

Andrew G. Sloop

Andrew Sloop has over 15 years of experience financing, managing, and operating international businesses as Founder, CEO and Board Member of both public and private companies. Andrew is a Founder and a Managing Partner of FENIX Management Group. Andrew oversees the development and execution of FENIX’s deal flow strategy as well as arranging and managing strategic partnerships.

Rick Moss

Rick Moss brings nearly 40 years of corporate financial management, strategic planning and banking experience to Fenix Equity Group. He retired from HanesBrands Inc. (NYSE: HBI) at the end of 2017 after six years as Chief Financial Officer and six years as Senior Vice President – Finance & Treasurer. During his time as CFO, Rick led 10 successful acquisitions around the world totaling nearly $3 billion. While at HBI, Rick also completed numerous multi-currency financings in North America, Europe, Australia and Asia worth billions of dollars. Before joining Hanesbrands as Senior Vice President – Finance & Treasurer, Rick served as CFO of Chattem Inc., a consumer products company. Prior to that, he held several positions of increasing responsibility in banking and financial management. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Winnebago Industries (NYSE: WGO) and Nature’s Sunshine Products (NASDAQ: NATR) and serves as Audit Committee chair for both companies.

John Marsh

John is an accomplished senior business executive with a 25-year career with a Fortune 500 company. His experience, as a leader and operator, translates well to multiple industries and end-markets.

Most recently, John led the $2.3 billion Activewear Division of Hanes Brands Inc. as Group President where he drove significant strategic change across international markets and across a diverse range of functional areas. He demonstrated the ability to increase both sales and profitability as well as brand-building on a global scale, growing the Champion brand 30-50% per year. He brings expertise in acquiring and integrating several strategic businesses.

John graduated in Economics from Brigham Young University and graduated with distinction from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
